Program Overview (pdf)
“Cultural inclusion” or “culture competency” is defined as promoting laws and policies that will ensure participation in all educational, vocational, leisure and other settings in the cultural community for people from marginal populations via intercultural dialogue and exchange of all sides (Meshunis, 2015; TASH, 2019). The issue of the inclusion of deprived population in the educational system through the life cycle will be discussed from broad interdisciplinary perspectives. These perspective include ethical, socioeconomic, educational-cultural, and technological aspects. Scientists and scholars from different disciplines will participate, including education, technology, social work, ethics, legislation, economics, and policy.
A special session will be devoted to post-secondary education (PSE) for persons with disabilities, and will present programs and research about PSE for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities over the world. A session about the exclusion of special typical population (Arab/Ultra-orthodox) from higher education will be also included.
